Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro with 18:9 display spotted in benchmark test

Sony is set to appear at MWC 2018 to unveil their new Android smartphones and one of them could be the Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro as spotted on a benchmark test result.

Based on the screenshot below, the benchmark test has revealed the name of the unit as Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro with a model number of H8116 and runs on Android 8.1.0 Oreo. It also shows a screen size of 424 x 848 which hints that the device will support an 18:9 aspect ratio. In December 2017, it was reported that the H8116 model will sport a 2160 x 3840 screen.

Other details are yet to be confirmed but it is rumored to sport a Snapdragon 845 chipset, dual-rear cameras, 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage. What is confirmed though is that Sony will give two years of Android updates for their premium range Xperia smartphones.
