2018 Honda CR-V (7-seater) now in the Philippines, priced

Honda Cars Philippines has finally revealed its all-new CR-V car models, with top variants featuring a 7-seating capacity and a diesel engine to boot.

The new 7-seater CR-Vs are powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC i-DTEC turbo diesel engine, touting light weight yet heavy performance with peaks at 120 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. Combined with a new 9-speed automatic transmission with a push-button Electronic Gear Selector, Paddle Shifters, and wider gear ratios, the all-new CR-V is said to attain low noise levels and high fuel efficiency figures with up to 18.9 km/L based on Honda’s own tests.

The new CR-Vs also got a facelift compared to its predecessor which the company calls a Modern Functional Dynamic design concept that emphasizes its more aggressive yet still sporty look.

The all-new Honda CR-V starts at Php1,539,00 for the 2.0S CVT 5-seater variant, while the 7-seater V Diesel 9AT, S Diesel 9AT and SX Diesel 9AT will be available for Php1,569,000, Php1,759,000, and Php2,049,000, respectively. The CVT 5-seater model is available at dealerships nationwide starting tomorrow, while they will also accept reservations for the 7-seater models as these will be arriving in the country by the end of September.

120hp is too expensive for a 1.5M car.. 2.1M is even more expensive..
