AnTuTu’s top 10 iOS devices for March 2020
AnTuTu has released its top 10 iOS devices for March 2020.
Following the release of Apple’s new iPad Pro with the new A12Z Bionic Chip, AnTuTu has released the best performing iOS-based devices using the AnTuTu Benchmark V8-iOS version. Scores shown in the graph are the averages of all scores, not just the highest one.
As expected, the iPad Pro 4 (12.9-inch) with the A12Z Bionic chip in the highest memory configuration took the number 1 spot, with an average score of 747,937 points. Interestingly, the older iPad Pro 3 (12.9-inch) with the A12X chip took the number 2 spot, scoring an average of 716,322 points. Taking the number 3 spot is the smaller version of the iPad Pro 4, with the same chip but less memory (6GB + 128GB) scoring 715,253 points. Meanwhile, the number 4 spot was taken by the smaller version of the iPad 3 with again, less memory (4GB + 128GB), scoring 709,190 points. The six remaining iOS devices on the list (in order) are the iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone11, iPad Air 3, iPad mini 5, and iPhone XS Max.
If you’re after performance, then getting the bigger iPad Pro 4 with the 6GB + 256GB memory configuration might be worth the extra cost, as it scored ~30,000 points higher (5% performance boost) than the 11-inch version. However, if you’re going after value, then last generation’s iPad Pro 3 (after discounts) is still a great purchase if you don’t need the new features that the iPad Pro 4 comes with.
