Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max scores 117 points at DXOMark

DxOMark has released its camera review of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, currently tied for second with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G.

According to DxOMark’s review, the iPhone 11 Pro Max got an overall score of 117 with a photo score of 124 and a video score of 102. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G got a photo score of 126 and a video score of 101. The current rank 1, Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition got an overall score of 121 with a photo score of 130 and a video score of 102.

DXOMark says that “camera performed very well in our tests in pretty much all areas” and that “the iPhone is among the very best for exposure.” For videos, it’s on par with the current best, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition. When shooting with the 4K resolution, DXOMark said that “the 11 Pro Max records excellent detail and noise is very well under control in bright light” and that “the video autofocus is very smooth, with good tracking capabilities, and the stabilization system works very effectively in most situations.”

  • Primary: 12Mp 1/2.55-inch sensor, 26mm-equivalent f/1.8-aperture lens
  • Ultra-wide: 12Mp sensor, 13mm-equivalent f/2.4-aperture lens
  • Tele: 12Mp 1/3.4-inch sensor, 52mm-equivalent f/2.0-aperture lens
