If ASUS has a portable monitor for productivity in the form of the ZenScreen Touch, gamers have the ROG Strix XG17 sporting a 17.3-inch screen real estate and a max refresh rate of 240Hz.
The 17.3-inch portable gaming monitor has a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, an IPS panel with a matte finish and 178-degree viewing angles, two USB Type-C port, two micro-HDMI 2.0 ports, AC power, and a pair of 1W speakers.
It supports Adaptive-Sync technology to sync the refresh rate with the output of compatible GPUs between 48Hz and 240Hz, is bundled with DisplayWidget utility for fine-tuning, GameVisual feature with presets to match your games, and a dual-purpose smart cover that protects the screen during transit which then folds to prop the XG17 into different positions. All of that is housed in a metal chassis with a brushed finish and measures at just half an inch thick.
Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
