Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) announced their Mobile App Free Access Promo, stating that the use of their BPI Mobile app will be free of charge across all networks. The promo began on February 1.
The announcement was made through the bank’s new mobile application. For Globe and TM subscribers, the promo begins on February 1, 2019, and ends on July 31, 2019. For Smart, Sun. and TNT subscribers, on the other hand, the promo will begin on the same date and end on April 30, 2019, instead.
BPI’s newly-revamped mobile app was launched last May 2018. Apart from easy to use online banking, account managing, and the like, the app also features fingerprint login and QR code transfers.

This new app is not compatible with Lollipop version. I was forced to buy a new unit just to use this app. I have reformatted my old CP thinking that there was another app that is causing the issue but it did not resolved the issue. Also this will not work on rooted phones.
