GCash scan to pay now available in all National Book Store branches

National Book Store (NBS) will soon offer GCash scan to pay in all of its stores by the end of May this year.

“We, at National Book Store, are very excited to embrace the use of GCash scan to pay in all of our stores across the country. I think allowing the customers to have the option of paying using GCash benefits everyone involved most especially the shoppers,” says Xandra Ramos-Padilla, Managing Director of National Book Store.

At the moment, NBS branches at all Ayala Malls nationwide are already using GCash scan to pay, with other stores to follow suit in the coming weeks.

National Book Store customers who will use GCash scan to pay also get a 10% cash back capped at Php500 until end of next month. The promo is also available in National Book Store’s affiliate specialty stores Powerbooks, Art Bar, and Noteworthy.

i don’t really believe in this statement: “NBS branches at all Ayala Malls nationwide are already using GCash scan to pay, ”

even previous claims by globe that all NBS stores accept globe rewards points (different from gcash) as payment is not true. in Cagayan de Oro alone, only NBS-LimKetKai is consistent in accepting payments thru globe rewards points. NBS-Ayala Centrio’s reason for not accepting globe points: defective sim/phone system. NBS-SM Downtown: no idea about globe rewards points
