Honor is expanding its line of smartwatches with a new GS model in China, the Honor Watch GS 3.
The GS 3 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 3D curved glass, 326 PPI, and 466 x 466-pixel resolution. The watch’s body is made out of 316L low-carbon stainless steel measures 10.5 mm thick and weighs 44g, the diameter is 45.9 mm.
It comes in silver, gold, and black colorways, each with a different wrist strap. The two get Nappa leather straps, while the black one has a rubber strap.
Moreover, there are over 100 sports modes, including 10 “professional sports modes” and it supports heart rate tracking, 24/7 blood oxygen tracking, and sleep tracking.
The watch also comes with 5 ATM water resistance. However, its suite of sensors also includes an accelerometer, gyro, compass, air pressure, and ambient light sensors.
The Watch GS 3 is equipped with a 451mAh battery, which Honor claims to last up to 14 days of typical use or 30 hours of continuous GPS tracking.
Furthermore, there are several basic apps that come preinstalled, including a music player, alarm and timer, and a remote camera shutter button. In addition, it also comes with China-specific features, such as Alipay and a smart card for public transport.
Price starts at CNY 1,299. It can now be pre-ordered in China via Honor’s official website.
