How to change your Instagram icon

In line with its 10th anniversary, Instagram has recently allowed users to customize and get access to the photo-sharing platform’s previous icons. This feature is exclusively available on iOS and Android devices.

Among the icons included on the list are Instagram’s classic and original icons way back in 2011 and 2010 that features a polaroid. There’s also the pre-launch version and the colored version of its latest icon that vary in hues.

Here’s how to change the icon of Instagram on your device:

  1. Open Instagram on your device.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll down until you see a list of emojis on top.
  4. Choose the desired icon you want to use.
  5. Tap add on the pop-up menu.

The icons will automatically be added on the device’s home screen.

Instagram has also added a map and calendar for your Stories under the Stories archive. Users may share, download, and save them to their highlights.

Along with it is the app’s anti-bully features that hide comments similar to others that have been reported and prevent the users from posting potentially offensive comments.
