Other competitors, like Dell, are chipping in on expanding their gaming line. So today, HP joins in on the fun with their announcement of the updated HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15. A new laptop with flexible configurations yet respectable performance.
The HP Pavilion Gaming 15 is equipped with either up to the latest 8th gen Core i7+ H processors or up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 U-series processors and up to an AMD Radeon R560X or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q. Display-wise we have a 15.6-inch panel with three possible configurations — FHD 144Hz, FHD 60Hz, or 4K 60Hz. As for storage, users can opt to have a single HDD up to 2TB, a single SSD up to 256GB, or dual storage options in 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD, or 1TB + 16GB Intel Optane memory configurations.
The laptop will have different varying designs based on its configurations. Units equipped with the i+ H processors get a Shadow Black finish and brushed aluminum keyboard with backlit keys that are available in Acid Green, Ghost White, or Ultraviolet color themes with matching color printed accents on the laptop port labels. The mainstream ones, on the other hand, come in Shadow Black but only in Ghost White accents with a plastic keyboard deck and optional backlighting.
The HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15 starts at $799 (~Php 41,580) and will be available on HP’s website and other retailers come May 9.
