Huawei EMUI 10 now official

Huawei has announced the EMUI 10 that comes with various new and improved features at the Huawei Developer Conference in China.

The EMUI 10 is based on the Android Q operating system that will be rolling out soon. It features 4 main functionalities:

  • New User Experience (UX) Design
  • More AI functionalities
  • Faster and Smoother operations
  • Win-Win Ecosystem

For design, app icons will be more rounded in shape while its dark mode will extend to third-party applications if you are fond of the black-colored theme. There will also be more clock styles and “Always on Display” options.

In terms of performance, the EMUI 10 will also carry the GPU Turbo 3.0 and EROFS file system which lessens app switching time and improves gaming further. You can also pair your Huawei phone to your car using the HiCar application. This makes you control the music, navigation, and functions in your vehicle through this app.

Another neat feature is that you can link your phones with computers using the Multi-Screen Collaboration. It allows you to wirelessly connect and screen mirror your phone into your computer where you can access and transfer files, send messages, and hover using your mouse throughout your phone’s interface.

The Huawei EMUI 10 will have a beta-testing phase for P30 and P30 Pro users on September 8, 2019. It will also come to the following devices in the future:
