Huawei has officially announced their new flagship smartphones sporting the new Kirin 980 chipset – the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.
The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are basically siblings. The Mate 20 has a 6.53-inch screen with a small notch and 4,000mAh battery while the Mate 20 Pro has a 6.39-inch screen with a wide notch and 4,200mAh battery. Both are powered by the new Kirin 980 chipset with dual NPU and support for Huawei’s 40W SuperCharge. The Mate 20 Pro, though, sports the new 15W Huawei Wireless Quick Charge and Wireless Reverse Charging, meaning you can use the phone to wirelessly charge other smartphones that support the feature.
When it comes to imaging, the Mate 20 features a 16MP f/2.2 (Ultra Wide-Angle Lens) + 12MP f/1.8 (Wide-Angle Lens) + 8MP f/2.4 (2X Telephoto Lens) triple rear camera, while the Mate 20 Pro has a 40MP (Wide-Angle Lens) f/1.8 + 20MP (Ultra Wide-Angle Lens) f/2.2 + 8MP (3X Telephoto Lens) f/2.4.
