Huawei Watch D now official

Huawei has recently unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Huawei Watch D.

The Huawei Watch D sports a 1.64-inch AMOLED color touchscreen with 456 x 280 resolution and a pixel density of 326 PPI. It is made of an aluminum alloy case and has two color options: Black and Titanium. Moreover, the Watch D comes with straps made of fluoro-rubber and comes in medium (11.8cm) and large (13.3cm) sizes.

Moreover, the smartwatch comes with the usual set of health and fitness features such as a steps counter, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and blood oxygen level monitoring. Additionally, it also has the ability to record your ECG and measure blood pressure.

The Huawei Watch D uses Huawei TruBP, which employs micro air pumps and airbags for wrist-based blood pressure measurement. According to Huawei, it has integrated a high-precision pressure sensor, a pressure feedback control circuit, and a low flow resistance gas path to get measurements with an error margin of ± 3mmHg.

It is also advertised to detect Atherosclerosis, Arrhythmia, and Sleep Apnea risks. Further, Huawei said that it partnered with 301 hospitals in China to test the accuracy and reliability of the Watch D, which has also been registered as a Class II medical device with China’s food and drug administration.

Other features include a temperature sensor, multi-functional NFC, and IP68 dust and water resistance. For the battery, Huawei claims it to last up to seven days in typical usage.

It is priced at CNY 2,988, and it is now available in China via Huawei’s official website.
