Lazada Bounce Back Together aids local existing and new SMEs

Lazada launches a support and recovery program for existing and new sellers. Dubbed as the Lazada Bounce Back Together, the seller incentive package worth PHP100 million in total aims to arm entrepreneurs with tools they need to jumpstart their businesses online.

Targeting over 10,000 sellers who offer products to get them onboard, Lazada extends its hand to micro, small and medium entrepreneurs through e-commerce. Under the program, the company offers s up to PHP 20,000 cash incentives to support store setup as well as expansion and adding of new products. Sellers also get training and support in customer service, live video selling, and more affordable shipping services.


Meanwhile, existing sellers on the platform who can operate and fulfill deliveries during ECQ will soon get
waived payment fees and rewards vouchers. For newbies, Lazada currently removes its commission on marketplace sales and provides a wider customer reach. Lazada also offers its LazLive feature, a live-streaming tool, for sellers to create real-time interactions with their customers.

Merchants also get exclusive access to Lazada University, an online resource that empowers sellers with knowledge and tips to build and grow their online stores through digital training modules. E-learning sessions themed “Resilience Amid the Pandemic” will be provided to aid sellers in rebooting their business back on track during these trying times. The first session will be hosted by Nielsen’s managing director, Patrick Cua, on April 22.

Lazada has also partnered with small-medium enterprise (SME) advocate groups, such as Bounce Back PH, to recruit new sellers. Besides bringing about business continuity, the company also started donation drives for the PPEs of .our medical frontliners.

    i used to buy stuffs in lazada, then i noticed something fishy with their shipping fee. our barangay is more expensive than others, like 3x more, our nearby barangay is alot cheaper, even barangays that are near the city boundary is cheaper. i just dont understand how they compute their SF. so good bye lazada.
