Leica M10 Monochrom now official, priced

Leica has released its latest black and white digital rangefinder camera, the M10 Monochrom.

The Leica M10 Monochrom is equipped with Leica’s new B/W CMOS chip with a resolution of 40MP, and an ISO range of 160-100,000. As for the design, Leica wanted the M10 Monochrom to be stealthy. Leica opted to remove the Red Dot from their previous model and added a “Leica M10 Monochrom” inscription on the top. The body is also thinner than the previous generation, and the mechanical shutter was also designed to be silent.

As for its ease of use, Leica added touch functionality to its display and enabled FOTOS connectivity, which allows you to transfer photos wirelessly, remotely control your camera, and manage your camera settings.

The Leica M19 Monochrom fetches a hefty price of USD 8,295 on Leica’s official USA site. Unfortunately, the camera is out of stock, so you have to wait for new stock to arrive or try and purchase it from other channels.
