LG Display to introduce new OLED displays for airplanes, automobiles at CES 2020

At CES 2020, LG Display will unveil its latest OLED displays for airplanes, automobiles, homes, hotels, commercial spaces, and more.

LG Display is set to showcase a 65-inch UHD bendable OLED display for first-class flights that lets users adjust the curvature of the display according to their preferences. It will also introduce a 55-inch FHD transparent OLED display with 40% transparency, to be used as partition in cabins with its visor feature that users can turn on and off. The screen can also show videos and information. Additionally, LG will also reveal a 13.3-inch Plastic OLED tablet for use in the cabin.

For automobile use, LG is set to launch for plastic OLED displays. Included in the lineup are a 14-inch cluster, 12.3-inch center information display, 12.3-inch co-driver display, and a 12.8-inch control pad display, combined together with a single cover glass. In addition, LG will also showcase a multi-layered cluster, consisting of a 12.3-inch POLED display behind a 12.3-inch transparent OLED. There will also be a 12.8-inch rollable OLED display that can be installed anywhere in the car.

For homes and hotels, LG will debut its newest Cinematic Sound OLED displays, such as a 77-inch UHD Film Cinematic Sound & Wallpaper OLED, and 88-inch 8K Cinematic Sound OLED with 11.2 channel sound system, 65-inch UHD Roll-Down OLED display that can be stored in the ceiling and pulled up or rolled down when desired, and a 48-inch OLED TV display.

Last but not least, LG’s will also unveil displays for office use. They will showcase a 55-inch transparent OLED with 40% transparency and in-TOUCH technology and a bigger 86-inch LCD display with in-TOUCH technology that can also be used as a whiteboard with four active pens to use on it simultaneously.
