Motorola Defy specs, now official

Motorola has unveiled Motorola Defy—the first device under the brand’s new era of rugged mobile phones. The company has teamed up with Bullitt Group, a leading manufacturer of rugged mobile phones, to deliver this smartphone.

The Motorola Defy sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display geared with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging. It comes with triple rear cameras consisting of 48MP F1.8 (main), 2MP (depth), and 2MP (macro) sensors. Upfront is an 8MP selfie camera.

According to Motorola, this smartphone is a waterproof phone, certified to industry standards (IP68), and can be submerged to depths of 1.5m for 35 minutes with its dual-sealed housing. Additionally, it is also drop-proof to 1.8m and certified to military standards (MIL-SPEC 810H), facing extreme temperature survivability, vibration, and tumble tests.
