OnePlus unveils Concept One smartphone
OnePlus has unveiled its concept smartphone, Concept One, at CES 2020.
The Concept One is a collaboration with McLaren, looks similar to the OnePlus 7T Pro, especially with its rear camera placement and the pop-up selfie camera. The device is wrapped in stitched leather, with McLaren’s signature color, Papaya Orange. Its main highlight is its triple rear cameras hidden under an electrochromic glass, turning opaque to transparent once a current is applied to it. The same glass is used in several McLaren cars, airplane windows, and more.
The triple-rear cameras are hidden under the glass and only appear when the camera is activated. OnePlus notes that it only takes 0.7 seconds for the glass to turn from opaque to transparent and vice versa. The glass also acts as an NB filter for photography.
OnePlus has not announced any pricing or availability details of the Concept One.
