A person who has poor internet is likely to scoff at these figures. Same person will also claim that such and such telco is the worst in the world. Conversely, satisfied customers won’t bother top advertise their satisfaction. But these Ookla figures include both complaints and approval. I only hope that the improvement reaches all soon.

I agree that there’s still a long way to go but we should also recognize the strides of improvement we’ve been having for the last months. Hopefully, the speeding up of permit processing aid in this progress.

Between statements based on personal experience and reviews from independent firms like Ookla, I’m more inclined to believe the firms which are backed by numbers. I believe there is still a long way to go but these little improvements are a start.
