If you’ve been a fan of Huawei for a while now but also want to experience vanilla Android on their devices then you’re in luck. Thanks to the team behind OpenKirin 26, select Huawei devices can now be flashed to three different stock Android ROMS.
The three available Android ROMS are LineageOS, Resurrection Remix, and CarbonOS. As of writing, there are currently only 17 Honor and Huawei devices that support OpenKirin’s AOSP (Android Open Source Project). These devices also have to be running EMUI 8 for the ROMs to work. (for a list of the supported devices click here 22)
To flash your Huawei or Honor devices you just have to download the OpenKirin ROM here and proceed with the flashing instructions here. Be advised that Huawei is soon shutting down their service that provides bootloader unlock codes on July 22. So, if you wish to have a hassle-free ROM installation of OpenKirin’s custom OS then you have about a month.

If i want to revert back to the original emui is that possible? And to recieve Software Updates?
KE says:
I flashed LineageOS 15.1 beta 4 on the Nova 2i. Much faster than EMUI and no bloatware either. Well worth it, as long as you follow the instructions.
