Razer Online Game Store coming soon in PH

It’s now official: Razer is bringing its online game store to the Philippines and the rest of Southeast Asia through a partnership with the region’s biggest e-commerce website.

The Online game store will give users instant access to hundreds of digital games curated at local price points from publishers such as Ubisoft, Bethesda, Deep Silver, 2K and Rockstar, as well as indie game developers. The gaming-focused company will leverage on Lazada’s regional expertise in delivering content to its legions of fans. “A gamer’s wish-list never stops growing, and we’re always on the lookout for great deals to expand our game library,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “Together with Lazada, we’ll bring the passion for gaming to even more fans in South-East Asia, fuelled by our unique ecosystem of hardware, software, and services.”

While it’s been said that Singapore is the first to launch the online game store last week, other countries will also get their local versions such as Thailand and Malaysia this quarter and the Philippines and Indonesia thereafter.

Tan has just arrived in Manila, his reasons for the visit still unknown.
