Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha to arrive in India

Xiaomi’s 360-degree screen concept smartphone, the Mi Mix Alpha, is set to arrive in India.

A landing page for the smartphone went up on Xiaomi India’s website. First introduced in 2019 in China, the Mi Mix Alpha has been delayed indefinitely by Xiaomi. Despite the “indefinitely delayed” status, the event page on the Xiaomi India website seems to say otherwise.

The Mi Mix Alpha has a front and back display that’s connected to each other. The only non-screen part of the device is its 108MP + 20MP ultra-wide + 12MP Telephoto cameras housed in a band on the “back” portion. For specs, the smartphone has a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, MIUI 11, and 40W fast charging technology.

There’s no official word yet from Xiaomi on when the Mi Mix Alpha will exactly arrive in India, nor when the device will officially launch. Stay tuned.
