Alongside the main event, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the brand also unveiled its newest tablets: the Xiaomi Pad 6 and its Pro variant bringing improvements over the previous generation.
Both tablets sport an 11-inch 2.8K (1800 x 2880 resolution) IPS LCD at 16:10 aspect ratio. The Pad 6 has a 120 hertz refresh rate and the Pad 6 Pro gets a higher 144 hertz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Pro model uses a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is an upgrade from the Pad 5 Pro’s Snapdragon 870 combined with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The vanilla model acquires that same Snapdragon 870 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
At the back of the Pad 6 Pro protrudes a dual camera setup that applies the design of the Xiaomi 13 series (not the Ultra ones). It has a 50-megapixel main camera with 2MP depth sensor, and at the front is a 20-megapixel sensor with face-tracking capability.
The Pad 6 has a 13-megapixel main rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Their battery capacities are rated at 8,600 mAh for the Pad 6 Pro with support for 67 watts fast charging. While the Pad 6 packs a larger 8,840 mAh battery but comes with slower charging rate at 33 watts.
Both devices feature a quad speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos, along with a new keyboard case and a second-generation stylus that has lower latency, longer battery life, and improved wear resistance on the tip.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 series is currently launched for China and available in Black, Blue and Champagne Gold colorways. Just like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, these tablets will go on sale on April 21 with the following prices:
