YouTube Music App now preinstalled on Android 10 devices

Google has announced that YouTube Music will now come preinstalled on all new devices launching with Android 10.

YouTube Music is the company’s own take on music streaming and is currently available in select markets. Google is now making it the default music player (replacing Google Play Music) for new devices launching with Android 10 (and Android 9), including the Pixel series. Those who want to use Google Play Music can still download the app from the Play Store.

We’re not sure though how it will affect future devices in the Philippines as YouTube Music is yet to officially launch in the country. Perhaps it will only be preinstalled in devices for specific markets.
