NVIDIA announces GeForce GTX 10 Series for Gaming Laptops

NVIDIA has officially announced that their GeForce GTX 10 Series (Pascal) GPUs – the GTX 1080, GTX 1070, and GTX 1060 are now available for gaming laptops.

The NVIDIA GTX 10 Pascal Series for gaming laptops are up to 75% faster than Maxwell, built with ultra-fast FinFET, support DirectX 12, and come with the performance and following features:

* G-SYNC 120Hz Epic Mode gaming on latest AAA titles
* 4K gaming
* VR support
* Dual-FET Power Supply
* Multi Phased Power Controllers
* Factory OC (overclocking) support (go beyond 300MHz)
* Bettery battery life (up to 30% more)
* Refined BatteryBoost (driver drop this August)
* GPU Boost 3.0

Along with the introduction of the new GTX 10 Series are new gaming laptops with G-SYNC, 120Hz and 25×14 displays.

Also announced is NVIDIA ANSEL which allows you to make in-game shots to capture memorable scenes while playing the game. It comes with features such as free camera, filters, EXR, SuperRez, and 360 capture.

When it comes to performance, check out the framerates as tested by NVIDIA in 120Hz and 4K gaming. Device used sports a GTX 1080 GPU, Core i7-6700HQ CPU, 16GB RAM. Settings is at 1080p Ultra for 120Hz, and High for 4K.
