The main tablet unit has a 12.2-inch Full HD touch display with Gorilla Glass protecting the panel from unwanted scratches.  There’s a fair amount of bezel surrounding it with the 2-megapixel front webcam sitting at the top. It also has a one-piece aluminum design.

The left side of the slate houses the USB-C 3.1 port, USB 3.0 port, and the DC-in for charging. The left speaker grille is positioned to the lower end.

The Lenovo Active Pen, as pictured above, has a cradle in which fits the USB port to keep the pen on the tablet.

While on the right are physical buttons for power and volume. There’s another circular port here but this one is for 3.5mm headphone jacks. And lastly, there’s also the right speaker grille.

We noticed that the slate has vent holes all-around. Users may want to keep the dust away from this, just to be sure.

The keyboard cover magnetically snaps onto the main unit and it features the familiar looking AccuType keys of Lenovo. Unlike other keyboard covers, the travel of the key is satisfying for fast typing. It also has a backlight to help in the dark.

The trackpad is small though and also plastic-y. But, since the tablet is a touch unit, you’ll probably utilize touch input more than the trackpad.

Lenovo’s watchband hinge is present here and is used with the tablet’s kickstand. Like with the Yoga notebook series, you can freely set the angle of the slate. It doesn’t go full flat but it leans back enough for different positions up to 170°.
