Qualcomm has confirmed that it will be hosting its Snapdragon Night event which is set to take place on May 20. The announcement comes with expectations of both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 platforms being unveiled.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ is set to offer improvements over the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, as it should. With some upgrades to the GPU whilst using TSMC’s 4nm process. Leaks have also suggested that the chipset will use a similar CPU structure.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will reportedly use ARM Cortex A710 and Cortex A510 cores with an Adreno 662 integrated GPU. This new chipset is also expected to debut on the upcoming OPPO Reno 8 series.
