Samsung Portable SSD T1 locally launched, priced

The Samsung Portable SSD T1 has been officially launched in the Philippines and now available for purchase.

As its name suggests, the SSD T1 comes in a sleek and compact body that is easy to carry around. It boasts a sequential read/write speeds of up to 450MB/s with a USB 3.0 super speed interface, and 8,000 Input Output Per Second (IOPS) and 21,000 IOPS for random read and write speed, respectively. Samsung adds that its random write IOPS is approximately 100 times faster than a typical external hard disk drive (HDD).


The Samsung Portable SSD T1 is priced at Php9,999 for the 250GB capacity and is now available at Samsung’s authorized distributors and resellers. The 500GB and 1TB capacities are yet to arrive.

    Mas mura bumili ng ext hd case tapos lagyan ng ssd.

    Kahit samsung ssd pa ang ilagay mo sa ext hd case, mas mura pa rin. Ang limit mo na lang talaga ang sata ver3 6gbps.

      Meron thunderbolt 2 na ext hdd enclosure case na mas mabilis ng 2x kesa sa usb 3.1. Ganun gamit ng iba kaya kahit mismong OS dun na nila niloload.

  2. ang advantage niya talaga is yung portability. Sobrang liit lang niya. Parang wala kang hawak. Sobrang gaan.
