The ASUS ROG GX700 is definitely a beast both inside and out. And from the looks of it, you’d already know that it’s going to have a jaw-dropping price tag. If you have a quarter million lying around or Php249,995 to be exact, you can get your hands on one.

Internally, the ROG GX700 is a beast thanks to its latest 6th-gen Core i7 processor and desktop-class GTX 980 GPU with 8GB of DDR5 VRAM. Memory-wise, you’ll be getting 32GB of 2800MHz DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD with a maximum of 3.5GB/s read/write speeds. Here is the configuration of the variant arriving in local stores:

ASUS ROG GX700 specifications:
17.3-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels)
2.7GHz Intel Core i7-6820HK quad-core processor (overclocked up to 4GHz)
32GB DDR4 2800MHz RAM
512GB NVMe PCIe SSD RAID0 (2x256GB)
Hydro Cooling System

If you’re eyeing to have one, you have about a month to save up as ASUS will release the GX700 in the Philippines by early March. Upon purchase, you’ll be getting two power bricks, one rated at 190 watts and another at 330 watts if to be used with the cooling dock. ASUS is also throwing in a special case for your new gaming laptop.

Just a comment to the author – are you sure that one of the power supplies is 190-watts? And not 180-watts? Because if this beast is the same machine introduced late last year by ASUS then the correct specs should be 180-watts for the smaller one and 330-watts for the bigger one.

@Daniel, I think you need to confirm with ASUS PH because that’s not what’s stated in ASUS Global site (https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/ROG-GX700VO/specifications/) and from most of the reviews I’ve seen last September 2015 about this beast. :) It is just a suggestion to use what is the most accurate information.
