There are some unofficial press renders popping up right now that show what the next generation Asus ZenFone could look like. Based on the leaked renders, it may have a metal build body, fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.
Previous reports also show two unofficial variants of ZenFone 3 which have already been sighted on the GFXBench listing the possible specs for each. The first variant, Asus Z010DD comes with a 5.5 or 5.9-inch 720p display, 12MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The second variant with different configuration, model numbered Z012D, has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa-core processor, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board.
This is still unofficial and we can’t be sure yet if these are in fact going to be part of their next generation ZenFone line-up. We may expect ASUS’ announcement with their new products at Computex happening in Taiwan from May 31-June 4.
