Nokia S40 users, if you thought the Finnish company has totally forgotten about you, think again. Nokia has recently released a Beta version of the Nokia Reader for S40 Touch/Type handsets (C2-02, C3-01, X3-02 and Asha 300/303).
News hungry Nokia S40 users will definitely like this new Nokia app as it brings you up to date news but not at the cost of your phone’s precious juice. This app lets you view news from your favorite sites directly to your phone.
This utilizes the Nokia Notification technology that does the fetching of news for you so the phone will use the internet connection only when needed. In addition, you can also switch from online to offline reading to further lessen your battery consumption.
