HTC has reminded all of us that they’re still in the smartphone scene with its new HTC U24 Pro. After years of being absent from the Philippine market, it seems unlikely that the HTC U24 Pro would get a local release. However, we'll have to wait and see if HTC decides to bring it here. Following the recent leak this month, the HTC U23 Pro 5G is officially confirmed equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 under the hood, and metaverse-ready with its compatibility to Viverse via VIVE XR Elite. HTC has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone in its U-series line. In a teaser photo, HTC only showed a peek of the device’s frame, but aside from the tagline “Are U ready?” (hinting the phone line) and the date—which is on May 18th—no other details are mentioned. Well, there is a highlight on Viverse meaning it will be compatible to VR and AR integration in HTC’s own metaverse platform. However, the key specs and some live photos of an HTC phone, purportedly the HTC U23 Pro 5G, has leaked last week.
