Been using this 42" LCD TV by American Home for a couple of months now. American Home isn't an unfamiliar brand. They make a whole line of home appliances from washing machines, air conditioners and TV sets. I actually own a couple of appliances by American Home (I think it's microwave oven and a couple of other smaller items) so when they contacted me and asked if I'd like to try their LCD TVs, I said yes. Their design don't really stand out that much but they're practical home appliances that's both affordable yet with a familiar brand name that spans a whole line of other products. Was playing a couple of Bluray titles on the TV and they turn out really well (Can't really tell the difference between my old 32" Samsung and 40" Toshiba LCD TVs I've been using at home for years. American Home isn't the first brand name you'd think when you're looking for a TV set but they sure does offer some pretty affordable alternatives. We recently went on a trip to Gadgets in Style’s store over at Edsa Shangri-La where they showed and gave us a demo of their top 5 home theater speakers and audio equipment.
