Our first stop today was the Pyung-Take Factory of LG Electronics, a 1-hour bus ride from Seoul. At the Pyung-Taek Factory, there's this huge collection of electronics that LG stores in a big walk-in vault. This secret vault showed us their first entry into the electronics market from way back in the 50's. De La Salle University now offers its new program under the Gokongwei College of Engineering, the Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing and Robotics Engineering (BS MRE). The program focuses on robotics, automation, and intelligent manufacturing, preparing students for careers in advanced engineering and emerging technologies. The new degree aims to equip future engineers with the skills needed for the evolving manufacturing industry.
