Xperia users who have been waiting for the Ice Cream Sandwich treatment for their smartphones may now get their hopes up as Sony finally started rolling out the ICS update for their 2011 Xperia lineup. As of April 13, 2012, the update will be available for the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V, and Xperia Ray for users in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway. Units to follow are the Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman which will have their ICS fix starting from end of May or early June of this year. We will be keeping track of the rollout and will update you once ICS for Xperia reaches the Philippines. In an email by Sony Ericsson today, the new Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone will be coming out to the public tomorrow in stores but people who made early reservations are supposed to get their own units today.
