PLDT is the fifth operator to join the Roku Powered program and through this partnership, consumers will have access for content streaming from Cignal network and iflix.

The company is planning to sell Roku streaming players that would let users enjoy the aforementioned entertainment benefits.

“We’ll be able to offer consumers a low-cost device with access to the best content from the Philippines and around the world through an easy-to-use user interface,” said Oscar Reyes Jr., PLDT First Vice President and Head of Home Operations.

This service is expected to launch during the second quarter of 2017 with no price range disclosed.
