Acer intros new 4K-ready projectors and monitor
Acer has announced new products at their global press conference in New York, included are new projectors and monitors capable of display 4K content.
Acer introduced new projectors for home cinema enthusiasts – the new H7850 and V7850 4K projectors. These feature 4K Ultra High-Definition (UHD) resolution, HDR- and Rec. 2020-compatibility, AcuMotion technology for motion blur reduction, and ExtremeECO power-saving feature that can reduce power consumption by up to 70% and extend lamp life by up to 15,000 hours.
In addition, they can project images onto screens of up to 120-inches, uses TI XPR technology for fine image details, and can provide DynamicBlack contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
Acer’s new 4K monitor is aimed at professionals working in the creative industries like photographers and video editors. The ProDesigner PE320QK features a UHD 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), HDR Xpert technology for enhanced brightness and vivid contrast, ZeroFrame design for less bezel, and USB-C port.
When it comes to quality, the PE320QK boasts accurate colors with a low Delta E < 1, supporting 130% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also sports Acer VisionCare technology to reduce eye strain and fatigue during long editing sessions. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
