Xiaomi has just had its launch event that’s seen the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro unveiled, as well as their first Mini PC.
They also unveiled their new TWS earbuds, the Xiaomi Buds 4.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 feature a semi-in-ear design with no silicone ear tips that’s reminiscent of Apple’s AirPods.
The earbuds are also rated for IP54 water resistance and IPX4 for their charging case.
For audio, it packs in a graphene dual magnetic dynamic driver with intelligent active noise cancellation, spatial audio, transparency mode, and 3 microphones with noise reduction.
It also has Hi-Res audio Wireless certification and SBC/AAC/LHDC 5.0 codes for sampling rates as high as 192KHz.
The buds themselves connect via Bluetooth 5.3.
As for battery life, the earbuds themselves have a 35mAh battery that is said to last up to 6 hours.
With the charging case giving an additional 480mAh, it can provide a total of 30 hours with active noise cancellation off and 20 hours with it on.
The Buds 4 are also said to provide 2.5 hours of playback with a single 10-minute charge.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 also come in either a white, black, or light green colorway and is now available in China for CNY 699 (~PHP 5,500).
Pricing and availability here in the Philippines has not been announced.
