GoTyme Bank has launched a new stock trading feature in its mobile app, allowing users to buy and sell shares listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. With PH Stocks, users can trade directly inside the GoTyme app without using a separate platform. By putting banking and investing in one place, GoTyme hopes to make it simpler for users to start investing. GoTyme said the feature is focused on long-term investing instead of frequent trading. The bank announced the update through an official advisory, making InstaPay transfers free for its customers. The updated fee now applies to every InstaPay transaction made through the GCash app. While there is no minimum transfer amount, each transaction is still subject to a maximum limit of PHP 50,000, based on the app's updated Terms and Conditions. The latest adjustment adds GCash to the growing list of financial service providers lowering digital transfer costs following the BSP's updated policy.
