LG Electronics (LG) has announced the latest webOS 6.0 for its upcoming 2021 smart TVs. The renewed LG ThinQ AI in webOS 6.0 supports new voice commands for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Those who are already familiar with webOS will instantly notice the updated home screen redesigned attractively. The New Home also serves as a central hub for settings and the webOS ecosystem. “The latest version of our user-friendly open TV platform webOS 6.0 represents the most significant update since we first introduced webOS in 2014,” President of LG Home Entertainment Company, Park Hyoung-sei, stated. LG’s newest lineup of TVs sporting the webOS 6.0 will be on exhibit in LG’s virtual exhibition booth during CES 2021 to begin on January 11.
