#macOS 27 Golden Gate

Apple has released the first public beta versions of its upcoming software updates, allowing users to try iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, and watchOS 27 ahead of their official release later this year. Meanwhile, macOS 27 Golden Gate brings Siri AI to Spotlight along with interface refinements, while iPadOS 27 adds Apple Pencil support for Visual Intelligence and faster file transfers with external storage devices. With Apple releasing its latest desktop operating system macOS 27 Golden Gate, there is much buzz over the latest features coming with this update. Before we get into the latest developments, Golden Gate is the most recent iteration of macOS. Unfortunately, a quick look through the update page lists down which devices will be supported by Golden Gate: Looking at this list, the most obvious omissions will be certain devices that received macOS 26 Tahoe but aren't here. In short, only Macs running Apple silicon will be moving on with macOS 27 Golden Gate.  At the same time, it is said that not all devices will have the same level of access to Golden Gate's features. Apple just named its next Mac operating system macOS Golden Gate. Golden Gate refers to the strait near San Francisco, keeping Apple's tradition of naming macOS after California landmarks.
