#PayMaya Transfer Fee

GCash and PayMaya will start charging fees for online bank transfers starting October 1, 2020. GCash has recently updated the Send Money page to its Help Center website, adding that it will resume the charging of fees for bank transfers per transaction starting October 1, 2020. PayMaya also confirmed the lifting of waived fees for bank transfer on the Terms and Conditions page of its website on the same date. Recently, banks have announced that it will resume fees for online transactions made through InstaPay, PESONet, and other interbank funds transfer service by October 2020. BDO Unibank has removed transfer fees for InstaPay and PESONet transactions made through the BDO Online and BDO Pay apps. Because of that , a number of banks ended up waiving their transfer fees, not really surprising. At the same time, RCBC says it will do free InstaPay transfers but with monthly limits, while GCash and Maya have reduced their interbank transfer fee to Php 10. UnionBank has removed transaction fees for person-to-person fund transfers made through InstaPay, with the new policy taking effect today, July 7, 2026.
