Sony has launched a limited edition model of the PlayStation 4 called DAYS OF PLAY LIMITED EDITION 2019 along with numerous product discounts for customers. As part of the global Days of Play sale which will commence on June 7, 2019, until June 17, 2019, Sony launched the PS4 limited edition Steel Black color. Sony said it is working on bringing AI-powered frame generation to PlayStation in the future to improve game performance without needing stronger hardware. In an interview, PlayStation lead system architect Mark Cerny shared that Sony is working closely with AMD on this feature. Sony already has a feature called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, which uses similar ideas.
