Smart Communications has launched KiQ, a fully app-based prepaid telco that lets you build your own mobile plan, choosing how much data, calls, texts, and validity you want — without visiting a store or inserting a physical SIM. Everything lives in the KiQ app, the eSIM costs a one-time ₱99, and new users get 25GB free on activation.

Here’s the full plan lineup, what the eSIM needs to work, and how to sign up.
What is KiQ?
KiQ is Smart’s first fully app-based mobile brand, built by DDB Philippines and aimed at younger, digital-first users.
Instead of buying a fixed promo, you set your own limits: open the app, drag a slider to pick your data allowance, decide whether you want calls and texts, and choose how many days the plan runs.
Smart calls this a “digiflex” experience, in plain terms, a prepaid plan you assemble yourself rather than pick off a shelf.
You also choose your own number from the new 0883 prefix.
KiQ plans and pricing
| KiQ offers five preset plans alongside the build-your-own option. Prices below are the launch rates: Plan |

How much is the KiQ eSIM, and how does activation work?
The KiQ eSIM is a one-time ₱99. KiQ is Smart’s first QR-less eSIM: instead of scanning a code emailed to you, you buy the eSIM in the app, tap to download it, and activate it in your phone’s settings.
New subscribers also get 25GB of free data on activation.
Can your phone use KiQ? (eSIM compatibility)
KiQ is eSIM-only — there is no physical SIM, so your phone must support eSIM to use it.
That covers most recent flagships and mid-rangers: iPhone XR/XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and many 2023-onward models from OPPO, vivo, realme, Xiaomi, and HONOR.
If your phone is eSIM-incompatible, you won’t be able to activate KiQ. (check here for full compatible list.)
KiQ vs GOMO vs DITO: how it compares
Unlimited / flagship plan head-to-head
| Plan | Price | Validity | Data | Calls / Texts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KiQ ALL U CAN | ₱940 | 28 days | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| GOMO UNLI DATA 599 | ₱599 | 30 days | Unlimited (up to 5 Mbps) | — (data only) |
| DITO Unli 5G + Unli Calls/Texts | from ₱299 | ~30 days | Unlimited 5G | Unlimited |
Mid-tier & budget value
| Tier | KiQ | GOMO | DITO |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry/budget | ERR — ₱100 / 7d · 12GB · 10 min · 100 SMS | 7GB ₱149 (no expiry) + 7d unli calls/texts | Data sachet from ₱10 (1GB/1d); Level-Up from ₱20 |
| Mid | AZZ — ₱350 / 28d · 50GB · 35 min · 350 SMS | 30GB ₱449 (no expiry) + 7d unli calls/texts | ₱599 · 40GB + calls/texts ·valid 1 year |
| Best headline value | 25GB free on activation + custom slider | No-expiry data (never wasted) | Level-Up 999 · 120GB / 30d + unli + Prime Video |
Philippine telco promos change frequently. These reflect what’s listed as of May 2026, GOMO’s “unlimited” is speed-capped (~5 Mbps); DITO’s unli is genuine 5G but coverage-dependent.

KiQ enters a market where Globe’s GOMO and DITO already court value-seeking users.
The difference is control: GOMO sells simple fixed bundles, DITO competes on raw price, while KiQ lets you set your own data/call/text mix and validity in-app.
For reference, readers should compare KiQ’s ₱940 unlimited 28-day plan against GOMO’s and DITO’s nearest unli offers before switching.
Is KiQ worth it?
KiQ is a serious option if you’re on an eSIM-compatible phone and want full control over your plan without being locked into a fixed monthly bundle , and the ₱99 eSIM plus 25GB activation freebie makes trying it low-risk.
If you prefer a physical SIM or a set-and-forget plan, a traditional prepaid promo still makes more sense.
To get started, download the KiQ app on the App Store or Google Play, buy the ₱99 eSIM, and build your plan in minutes.
