Velox Networks has launched its operations in the Philippines, marking its third market in Southeast Asia. The move comes after the approval of the Konektadong Pinoy Act, which opened the country’s telecom sector to more service providers.

Velox Networks offers cloud-based phone services that work over the internet instead of traditional cable systems. This allows businesses to make and receive calls without using physical wires or old phone systems.
The company said it has already built a local team in Manila and Cebu to support its operations. Its services aim to help businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, improve their communication systems using tools like call recording, CRM integration, and multi-location support.
According to CEO Martin Nygate, the Philippines is at a point where many businesses are looking for better and more modern communication tools. He added that cloud telephony can help reduce the need for old cable networks, often seen as tangled wires in many areas.
Recent local efforts to manage overhead cables, along with proposed laws on dangling wires, also show a shift toward cleaner and more modern telecom systems.
Founded in 2017, Velox Networks provides Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services and operates under Singapore’s telecom regulator.
