Supreme Court of the Philippines has approved a new framework governing the use of artificial intelligence in the judiciary, setting rules to ensure human oversight and accountability. The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) has stated that they will soon restore access to Grok to the Philippines. CICC Undersecretary Renato Paraiso announced Wednesday that the Philippines will restore access to Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok after its developer committed to removing image-manipulation tools that raised child safety concerns. CICC also adds: "Even after lifting the ban, the CICC will still closely monitor the app to ensure they comply with the rules and regulations in our country." Grok had been blocked last week over concerns it could generate sexualized images. Russia’s regulation will seek to integrate a mechanism for the circulation of digital currencies into the country’s financial system while ensuring control over credit institutions’ cash flows. Grab Philippines is imposing better safety and hygiene standards to limit the spread of the COVID-19 for its GrabCar service with GrabProtect. Building on government regulations, GrabProtect's policies further raise Grab's safety and hygiene by implementing the following protocols: Grab driver and delivery-partners have to submit daily health declarations, confirming they are well before starting their day.
