Google is expanding Gemini’s agentic features, allowing the AI to perform actions directly on Android apps. Gemini’s app control will work only with certain apps at launch where it will likely start with food delivery, booking rides and possibly some Google apps. Apple dedicated a big chunk of WWDC 2026 to child safety, and the update is the most comprehensive parental control expansion since Screen Time launched. CapCut has launched a new app called CapCut Pad for Android tablets, bringing more advanced video editing tools and a larger editing workspace designed for bigger screens.
