Google has released Beta 2 of Android 17. Google's Android 17 Beta 2 brings new features focused on privacy, security and easier app development. Google has officially expanded the Android 16 beta program to include select Xiaomi and OnePlus devices, marking a significant step beyond its initial Pixel-only rollout.    Eligible Devices for Android 16 Beta Google Pixel: Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a Xiaomi: Xiaomi 15 Xiaomi 14T Pro OnePlus: OnePlus 13 It’s important to note that these beta builds are primarily intended for developers and advanced users. Android 16 has achieved platform stability, with a stable release expected by the end of Q2 2025, potentially making it one of the earliest Android OS releases in recent years.  For those interested in exploring the new features and enhancements, the Android 16 beta is now accessible on the aforementioned devices. Android 16 Beta 3 has reached platform stability, marking a major milestone as the API surface is now locked and app-facing behaviors are finalized.
