It can be recalled that Apple has confirmed that it will be implementing the USB-C port on the iPhone in compliance with a recent EU law that passed, requiring USB-C to be the common charging port for all mobile devices by 2024. However, we have reported earlier that Apple may limit the iPhone USB-C functionality, comparable to how Apple denies third-party Lightning accessories or cables with a “This accessory is not supported” prompt. Apple has revealed that the iPhone 12 and 12 mini now come in the color Purple. As per Apple, the new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of the iPhone 12. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji. Additionally, Apple revealed that Siri no longer has a default voice and will include more voice options in English.
