Leaker Unknownz21 tweeted today a photo of the alleged iPhone 15's front, as well as the USB-C port at the bottom. However, finally seeing the USB-C port on an iPhone is perhaps the biggest story here. It can be recalled that Apple has confirmed that it will be implementing the USB-C port on the iPhone in compliance with a recent EU law that passed, requiring USB-C to be the common charging port for all mobile devices by 2024. However, we have reported earlier that Apple may limit the iPhone USB-C functionality, comparable to how Apple denies third-party Lightning accessories or cables with a “This accessory is not supported” prompt. Despite that, seeing a rumored iPhone with a USB-C port is still something to behold and we're excited to get our hands on one soon. The European Union (EU) has advanced a proposal that would make USB-C a standard port for all mobile devices like tablets, headphones, and smartphones, including the iPhone that uses its proprietary Lightning connector.
